X Factor judge Dannii Minogue is to host the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards UK ceremony this year, it has been announced.

The Aussie popstar, who was herself named TV Personality of the Year at the Glamour Awards in 2007, will oversee proceedings at the event on September 13.

“I am so excited about presenting this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards UK, it will be absolutely brilliant,” Minogue revealed. “There’s no other place on the planet you could have more fun!”

She added: “It’s an honour to present the awards and follow in the footsteps of some of the biggest stars in the world. Nickelodeon is such an awesome channel and the show is so huge in the States, we really want to show we can match them here in the UK. It’s going to be spectacular!”

Confirmed guests include iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove, Drake and Josh star Josh Peck and Golden Compass actress Dakota Blue Richards.

The ceremony will be broadcast on Nickelodeon on September 20, with repeat airings also scheduled on TMF and MTV Hits.
