With the Tier 0 release of the Nike Air Force 1 “Optical Force” this weekend in Milan, in collaboration with SlamJam, we thought we’d take a closer look at the black and yellow colorways.

The uppers come in wrinkled patent leather, the Swoosh, laces and lining in white. The lining comes in mesh and inner sole features the SlamJam “Optical Force” pattern and logo. The laces are waxed are have a real premium feel. Also the leather mid-sole adds a premium touch to the sneaker. The SlamJam logo is also embossed on the heel.

The pack will be released this Saturday, September 20th.

A frequent complaint on the gossip blogs is that 18 year old Hayden Panettiere dresses too old for her age. So we were pleasantly surprised to see little miss thang show up for the Trump Tower Dubai party a la Sharon Stone in a crazy animal print dress.

Hayden looks stunning and definitely age appropriate. Our only slight adjustment would be to add an inch or two to the hem length of her dress — not because we’re prudes, but because she looks uncomfortable. Check out her hand holding down the fort — Hayden knows that with one stiff breeze, we’d all be in big trouble.

This weekend was the release of the long anticipated ?uestlove Nike Air Force Ones. The night before the actual release plenty of shoe fiends camped overnight at the location to guarantee themselves a pair, and of course to be the first ones to flaunt them off to their buddies.

Celebrity friend Bun B from UGK even showed up to support and took the time out to mingle with the dedicated shoe heads. ?uestlove was very generous in making sure his supporters were very comfortable, throughout the day he had brought them 17 boxes of pizza as well as bottled water and even signed autographs and took pictures.

?uestlove was actually the first person to technically purchase his show. The first 5 customers in line got their pair free courtesy of the man himself.
