The only thing cuter than Selena Gomez playing with a dog would probably be Selena Gomez playing with a dog while a field full of chubby babies made her dresses made out of flower petals. Damn this girl for being so ridiculously adorable!

The little Disney star -one of the few to keep her chones on these days- was spotted recently at a L.A.-area park where she came out to watch her stepfather’s baseball game.

Our little hermanita was enjoying the game, sipping on some soda from Del Taco (fabulous!), and laughing as one of her friends reportedly stopped to moon encroaching paparazzi. Oh, that Selena. I bet her tears cure cancer or something.

The 16 year old has formed July Moon Productions, a partnership with Xyz Films, to develop at least two films for the actress/singer to star in and produce.

The deal comes hot on the heals of a decision by Disney bosses to adapt her hit TV programme Wizards of Waverly Place for the big screen - following in the footsteps of Miley Cyrus’ upcoming Hannah Montana film, and Hilary Duff’s 2003 The Lizzie McGuire Movie.

Teen singer/actress Selena Gomez has no confidence in her driving skills, and predicts it’ll be another 14 years before she gets her license.

The Disney star began the application process for a California driving license after turning 16 in July, but she admits she is put off getting behind the wheel by all the bureaucracy.

And although she’s booked to take her driving test next week, she doubts she will pass first time.

She tells People.com, “I had to take 19 tests in California! It’s the weirdest thing ever. I have to take, like, an online course, and then I have to go take my actual permit test at the DMV. So I will take that November 4, but I don’t know.

“I’m not feeling that confident about it. I’m assuming I’ll be 30 before I get my license!

Selena Gomez has revealed that there are plans in the works to turn her popular Disney series, “Wizards of Waverly Place” — about a New York City family whose kids have magical powers — into a movie.

“Yes! We actually want to shoot it here in New York,” she told MTV News. Gomez also talked a little bit about what she thinks might happen in the film, saying, “I think it would have to be that our secret is about to be exposed.”

But until her big-screen dreams come true, Gomez is hard at work on the series. “I think that my fans will expect more magic and crazy stuff going on,” she said of the show’s ongoing second season. “I think you see Alex more mature this season.”

Gomez excitedly revealed the one big way that her character is growing up and finding herself. “She gets her first boyfriend,” she said. “His name is Daniel, and he’s just this really sweet guy who, I honestly think, has a lot of potential. I think he’s going to do great.” She added, “No, [he doesn't know our secret] yet.”

But if Gomez could have her way, her big celebrity crush Shia LaBeouf would make a cameo in either the TV show or the movie. “You’d think that as much as I promote it [he'd be coming on],” she joked. “I’m, like, begging, but it’s not happening. I know I’m a nerd! Please, Shia, come on my show!”

Lizzie notes that Song is very close friends with the Jonas Brothers and Selena Gomez. The first sighting which lead to a suspicion of the two dating was when Joe and his brothers went to a Los Angeles Lakers vs San Antonio Spurs basketball game with Brenda and Selena, as what many thought was a double date. Brenda and Joe and Selena and Nick sat near eachother. Selena and Brenda are known to be very close they went to Pinkberry in Studio City earlier that month and rumors surfaced that Selena introduced Brenda to Joe.

Song went to all of the Joe’s first Burning Up Tours in California with Selena Gomez and Maya Kibble And another note worthy thing is that she went backstage after the tour with Big Rob (Joe’s bodyguard) and the Cheetah Girls.  Pictures of the two holding hands are available on Teen Scoop and several other sites here are pics of them holding hands at the Disney Land Horror ride. They reportedly went with Big Rob (Joe’s bodyguard) and The Cheetah Girls.

But now all of the media is on Jaylor (AKA. Joe and Taylor Swift) though recent reports claim they have split.  The media never focused on the relationship of the Jonas Brothers and Brenda Song. She is friends with all of the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus (now dating Justin Gaston), Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and The Sprouse Twins, claims Lizzie.  She is in the Disney Young Hollywood Club and has been in it for the past five  years.

Lizzie adds, “FYI, Song has starred in five Disney Channel Movies, including Stuck in the Suburbs, The Ultimate Christmas Present, Wendy Wu: H coming soon)  Get   a Clue (alongside a young Lindsay Lohan).  And appeared on Phil of the Future and has a new movie called Special Delivery, which is set to premiere in 2009. Oh and this fake Miley feud isn’t fooling me.”

Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus might have one thing in common in this feud besides they fact that they are both on Disney anyway the other thing that they have in common is that they are BOTH friends with Brenda Song.

The proceeds from her designs will go to the Palomita Education Fund, which dedicates itself to helping Latinos make it through college. Dang! This girl isn’t even old enough to go to college herself! Props to her.

Selena Gomez is cute as as button in a white lacy dress at the High School Musical 3: Senior Year premiere at the Galen Center at the University Of Southern California on Thursday in L.A.

The 16-year-old actress recently confessed that she’d love to take part in the continuing of the High School Musical franchise: “I think that would be fun. I love singing and dancing. I would have to say I’d love to play Sharpay because I just know Ashley Tisdale is not that mean girl in real life and it’s fun to see her play something she’s not.”

Selena’s show, The Wizards of Waverly Place, airs this Sunday @ 8:30PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Disney star Selena Gomez has long been rumored to be dating Nick Jonas, but just because she’s already ordered doesn’t mean she can’t continue to check out the menu. And the dish that Selena has her eyes on these days is none other than former Disney-star-turned-action-stud Shia LaBeouf.

Selena has been talking up her crush on the 22-year-old star of such flicks as “Transformers” and “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” Last week, the 16-year-old said she’d love to get Shia to make a cameo on her Disney series, “Wizards of Waverly Place.” “I’ve had a crush on him ever since he was on ‘Even Stevens,’ ” Gomez says in the upcoming issue of TV Guide. “It’s very far-fetched, but I would love to have Shia on ‘Wizards.’ “

In the interview she neither confirmed nor denied her relationship with Nick, but she did add some fuel to the fire. “I’ve gotten really close to the entire Jonas family this past year,” she said. “Nick and I are getting to know each other, but we’re not confirming anything.”

But last Saturday, on the red carpet for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Runway for Life benefit, Gomez seemed to be willing to cast Nick aside for her crush, according to E! Online.

“Let Shia know I’m available!” she said. Um, maybe you should let Nick know first.

If they are done, perhaps Nick and his brother Joe can commiserate. Last week it was reported that the middle Jonas and Taylor Swift had split. It wasn’t too long ago that those four crazy kids were double-dating. Young love can be so fleeting!

Oh, that Selena Gomez! She’s almost too good. Our beloved hermanita just can’t get enough of these charity photo ops, participating in St. Jude’s 5th Annual Runway For Life Benefit in Beverly Hills this weekend.

Stars like Jennifer Love Hewitt, Cybill Shepherd, and Marlo Thomas were in attendance, along with other real superestrellas (ex. Hillary Duff) and then just some estrellas by association (ex. Hillary’s horse-faced sister, Haylie).

Selena joined these stars and walked the charity cat walk in various fabulous outfits before taking time to hug children and kiss babies. Of course, Selena’s charitable acts don’t end here. Selena was recently appointed to be a UNICEF spokesperson for their upcoming Trick-or-Treat campaign, which encourages fancy pants kids to give to less fortunate children. Little Selena recently said,

“I am extremely excited to be this year’s Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF spokesperson. I want to help encourage other kids to make a difference in the world and show them that Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is such a great, fun way to get involved,”

It looks like Selena’s schedule is going to remain busy, busy, busy for some time! Next week, she’ll be riding unicorns in a field of daisies and the week after that, she’ll be curing sick puppies with her tears.
